About the Presenter:
Arturo Ramirez-Miranda MD, received his medical degree from the Universidad Anahuac, in Mexico City.
He performed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Instituto de Oftalmologia Conde de Valenciana, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, in Mexico City, and during his senior year he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Ramirez-Miranda then completed a one year Anterior Segment, Fellowship at Instituto de Oftalmologia Conde de Valenciana, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, in Mexico City.
Currently he is an Internatonal Fellow of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship Program, at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Ramirez-Miranda has received the Pan-American Ophthalmological Foundation's highest honors in fellowship programs, the Gillingham Pan-American Fellowship.
After the completion of his fellowship in The Jules Stein Eye Institute, Dr. Ramirez-Miranda, will go back to be an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, in the Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Instituto de Oftalmologia Conde de Valenciana in Mexico City.
