About the Presenter:
Robert P. Rivera, MD, is a native of southwestern New Mexico. After completing his undergraduate studies at New Mexico State University, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, followed by his residency in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnnesota. Dr. Rivera specializes in intraocular lens and refractive surgery, and is a partner in the Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona. His chief research interests include phakic IOL implantation, ultrasonic biomicroscopy (UBM) of the anterior segment, presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses and corneal refractive surgery.
