About the Presenter:
Prof James Wolffsohn is Deputy Executive Dean of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. He qualified as an optometrist in Manchester, completed a PhD in Cardiff, a clinical postgraduate diploma in Melbourne and an MBA at Aston. James’ research and teaching interests mainly revolve around intraocular lenses, contact lenses, low vision and the measurement of accommodation, having published over 100 peer reviewed academic papers and given numerous international presentations.
