TIMOTHY L. COMSTOCK, O.D., M.S., is Director of Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs for Bausch & Lomb, responsible for post-market clinical studies, medical education and scientific communications for all Rx and OTC pharmaceutical products. He was named to this position in 2008 after holding a variety of clinical research positions since joining Bausch & Lomb in 1989.
Dr. Comstock received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 1987 and completed the Cornea and Contact Lens Fellowship at Ohio State in 1989 earning a Master of Science degree in Physiological Optics for research evaluating the effect of rigid lens design parameters on fitting performance.
In addition to being a member of several ophthalmic societies, Dr. Comstock has contributed to more than 75 national and international publications/presentations with topics ranging from contact lens design and performance to intraocular drug delivery.
