Dr. Goes' goal is to bring his advances in refractive lens and laser eye surgery to each patient to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. He is focused on the best vision for his patients.
About Goes Eye Centre
Dr. Frank Goes is the medical director and chief surgeon of the Goes Eye Centre. He and his staff meticulously examine each patient to ensure the best possible outcomes for laser eye surgery. For LASIK surgery, Dr. Goes uses the most advanced system in the world the Visumax Zeiss Femtosecond laser combined with the Mel 80 Zeiss laser for Custom LASIK. This is the ALL LASER LASIK approach since no microkeratome is used anymore. The customized wavefront LASIK procedure, originally developed by Zeiss Meditec, provides a precise measurement of each patient's corneal curvature. This unique "corneal map" is then programmed into the excimer laser and eye tracker so that the corneas can be accurately re-shaped during the LASIK procedure. All surgery is pre-programmed by the computer.
Recently the FLEX SMILE technique _The No flap technique- was brought to the Centre whereby only a minimal opening of 3 mm. is made in the cornea in order to obtain the perfect Refractive Outcome.

Dr. Goes performs laser refractive surgery at Goes Eye Centre in Antwerp, Belgium.

In addition to LASIK, Dr. Goes offers LASEK and PRK. for those patients who do not qualify for laser eye surgery, Dr. Goes also provides intraocular lens (IOL) surgery-Artiflex phakic Iol to correct vision –and more specifically Multifocal iol’s allowing the patient to see clear at distance and near without glasses..
